Beautiful, wavy, thick mohair wig! Plump coral colored, rosebud lips. Vibrant lower painted lashes and feathered eye brows. Full, thick, upper lashes and very nice cheek color. Hansel wears an endearing long, nylon striped, stocking hat! His bolero jacket and pants are made of blue, gabardine material His white, pique shirt (with Peter Pan collar) is tagged in the rear, Hansel, Madame Alexander, NY. His shirt is attached to his pants with four, square snaps in the rear. Hansels tie, waistband, and pant-side-bands, are detailed with vibrant, plaid, yellow, emerald-green, and candy-red rayon! He wears his original, long, rayon, stockings. His shoes are black leatherette enhanced with ribbon bows. Gretel possesses a very sweet, demure face. She has a peaches and cream complexion. Sleep-eyes with vibrant, feathered eyebrows and thick, full upper lashes. Deep, smokey brown eye shadow enhances her dramatic eyes. Plump, dark, rose bud lips. She wears a coral jumper dress. Her crimson rose print blouse on solid blue background is attached. Her sleeves and neck is trimmed with Belgium Val Lace. There are three, square snap closures in the rear. Her crisp, original, organdy pinafore, which is so often missing, is trimmed with blue and pink flowered embroidery! Her dainty under garments are enhanced with the M. She wears a full, muslin slip trimmed in wide, scalloped, Swiss lace. Her pantaloons are trimmed in wide, scalloped Swiss lace as well. She wears her original, long, rayon stockings. Gorgeous Original Vintage Madame Alexander dark blonde. Cissy doll in 1959 Fancy Decor Queen outfit. The dress is tagged but the tag is faded. This is the earlier produced doll that still has the bending arms. The later dolls from this run had the. Strung Cissy’s with straight arms. She is in very good condition with only a couple of small stains on the dress and a dingy sash. She has the special wig with two bangs and a metal bar. Her wig is very full. Her slip is a ivory buckram material. No stockings with original panties and shoes. Her gloves have a few wear holes. Her crown is in very nice condition, specific to this outfit. She only has one bracelet, and a thin pearl necklace. No other jewelry present. Her body needs a good cleaning. She has one small split on one knee. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1950s hard plastic completely jointed 16 Elise ballerina doll with her original tagged gold dress and attached panties. She has lovely unclouded blue eyes fringed by totally intact eyelashes. Her fsce is highlighted by lightly blushed cheeks; lovely and full unfaded lips; and her coloring is even and true on her torso and limbs, but you can see the vinyl on her face is slightly discolored. Her hair is full, thick, and shows no thinning areas. She could use a restyling of hair. She is free of odors, chips, or splits at her seams. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for an almost 80 year-old doll. Her head, arms, and legs can somehat hold a pose. Her arms are minorly loose. I see no signs of issues, blemishes, and she is absolutely free of odors. Both of her clear unclouded eyes open and close completely. Her eyes are stunning. She is crowned by her amazing gold and sequins with somewhat still stretchy elastic. Her dress is four layers of flawless elegance. The two snap buttons in the back are well attached. She is simply stunning. Unfortunately, her pantyhose are torn on one side. I will include them so you have something for her until she is outfitted with new hose. She is missing her shoes. She is beautiful and free of issues. She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. She shows no age or discoloration. She is from a pet and smoke free home and was from the original adult collector’s clean home. We left her as is to preserve her in the original found condition. She shows nothing majorly detracting from her displayable condition. She may show unnoticeable marks on her skin from dressing and undressing. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She is complete with no chews, splits, or major damage. Her hair appears in the original style. Her eyes are highlighted with totally intact molded eyelashes, as well as individually painted lashes on the bottom and sides of her eyes. Her face, torso, and limbs are hard plastic with five pieces. She is well strung to pose beautifully, but her head and arms are somewhat loose. Her arms will not hold a pose. Her head does not droop, but her head and arms could someday soon need restringing. — Her body and limbs are exceptionally clean, undamaged, and free of issues, or blemishes. She is a sleep eye doll, and her eyes open and close easily. Her wig appears factory fresh, or close to it, with thick hair pulled back into lovely curls held by her original gold tone barrettes and gold lame bows on both sides. Her coloring is a matte suntanned appearance with lightly blushed cheeks and the prettiest and fullest lips. Her eyebrows are nicely defined. —She is a beauty from the original owner’s showcase. This doll was kept in the family of a vast doll collection from the 1930s through the 1970s. Her hair is full with no thinning areas. Her face, body, and limbs are close to flawless. This Madame Alexander Southern Girl was made from 1940 to 1943. She has the Wendy Ann face and is made of composition as all Wendy Anns are. She has a strawberry blonde mohair wig in very nice condition. Her eyes are clear and blue, they open and close properly, and she has full lashes. Her face and arms have very fine crazing, and there are paint rubs (photo) where they dont show at the hip joint of the right leg. Other small paint rubs are on photos. Just let me know. The shoes are made of ivory satin as many of Madames brides have. Her gown – tagged Madame Alexander on the back of the neckline, the hoop skirt and pantaloons are all in beautiful condition. I have added a pretty little bouquet made of vintage flowers, and added some of the same under the wide, floppy brim of her woven hat. There were dangling threads there that appeared to have served the same purpose. I have also restrung her and she can hold a nice pose on her own! She is an absolute mesmerizing beauty and looking for a home where someone will get as much enjoyment from her as I have. Thank you for looking!
